New and improved

PSP optimization as part of our Genesis PSP CRM

Electronic benefit verification (eBV)

Through close collaboration with one of Canada’s key payors, our PSPs are now able to test and validate a patient’s coverage as part of the electronic workflow, eliminating the need for manual three-way phone calls with the patient and payer while improving patient experience and privacy. Built with functionality that allows multiple DINs to be verified, not only does this feature allows for more consistent and reliable benefit information captured upfront, eBV reduces rework and the number of follow-ups by the PSP team. In alignment with our overarching objective of reducing manual effort, eBV enables faster and more efficient benefit verification and higher throughput for PSP teams. This tool will allow for continued focus on patient support while reducing delays in treatment initiation and reimbursement.

Physician automated reports

Based on a predefined schedule, the PSP can generate timely and consistent patient status reports delivered via email to physicians without the need for manual intervention. While improving physician visibility into patient status and program activity, these automated reports also reduce risk of missed, delayed, or inconsistent communications. The functionality of this tool aims to increase PSP operational efficiency and scalability as physician reporting volumes grow while reducing administrative burden for PSP teams. (This new service complements our existing HCP Digital Enrolment and Patient Status Solution where physicians have the ability to view patient status live online.)

Clinical History module

To improve visibility for the PSP and informed decision making, we have enhanced our approach to capturing patients’ previous diagnoses or comorbidities. Through a more structured and comprehensive documentation process, this module reduces reliance on free text or fragmented documentation, improving data consistency and usability. In addition to the upfront benefits, this enhancement:

  • Improves data quality for Pharmacovigilance teams and adverse event (AE) reporting, ensuring accurate diagnosis dates and clinical information are consistently captured and communicated to manufacturers
  • Enhances downstream reporting and analytics related to patient complexity and care needs Improves continuity of care by ensuring key clinical context is readily available

Enhanced questionnaire scoring functionality

Built-in logic allows questionnaire scores to be automatically calculated based on predefined criteria improving quality and consistency of evaluations. The process is simple—PSP teams simply complete the questionnaire with the patient (or deliver it digitally via email for the patient to complete on their own) and Genesis produces the final score; now eliminating the need for manual calculations. With time savings and reduction in errors, we can ensure consistent and reliable results across all patient assessments (e.g., HAQ disability index, DLQI total score, BASDAI/BASFI averages, ACQ 5 asthma control score, UAS 7 weekly score). By capturing structured, calculation ready data directly in Genesis, this enhancement simplifies reporting by removing rework or data validation efforts previously done by PSP teams.

Visibility across the patient journey

With a continued effort on enhancing insight reporting through our Cencora Analytics portal (Power BI driven), Innomar customers will now be able to access all reporting dashboards via one multi-factor authentication (MFA) login per user. This simplified login process and user interface experience provides users with access to a dashboard with insights from both Innomar and/or our Cameron Stewart LifeScience (CSL) financial assistance solutions in one place. Dashboard visibility is controlled by user access, so users only see the dashboards they need, depending on their permissions. Additional dashboard products can be added/removed as needed with viewing rights customizable per user depending on role.

Enhanced functionality also includes language toggling (French or English), exporting dashboards as PDF or PowerPoint, exporting details in a tabular format such as XLS for further analysis, as well as saving custom filters for future use.

Internal approvals using our Manufacturer Communication Solution (MCS)

""

To alleviate burden from our manufacturer partners, Innomar program management teams have been granted the ability to approve escalation requests, depending on the nature of the request. Within the escalation request management settings, a configurable option has been added to each request type that defines whether that request allows for “internal approval”. If so, when managers are reviewing a request, they will have the ability to approve the request without sending it over to their client for action. Any escalation requests approved in this way will continue to be sent through MCS for visibility to the client and for auditing purposes, but it will not require any action. All escalation requests are handled in the same way, meaning that front line PSP staff do not need to determine the right path to send in an escalation request; this will be done automatically based on the configured process.

With visibility to the internal approvals, manufacturers can audit these requests more effectively. Audits will demonstrate that the PSP management team is effectively reviewing those items which will ultimately build trust and as a result, our program managers will be empowered to take on more approvals on behalf of their clients.

HCP service reimbursement via RxHelp Copay

The Customer Portal is our digital platform that enables customers' to easily track and create shipments online.
RxHelp Copay by Cameron Stewart LifeScience (CSL) is an online portal where drug claims can be submitted for reimbursement. In addition to drug claims, RxHelp Copay can now be used by both patients and clinics to submit non-pharmacy claims (receipts) and service-related claims. Submitting through RxHelp Copay allows for faster approval and payment for the patient and clinic; while also relieving this task from the PSP team. By expanding the use of RxHelp Copay, this is another way that we are looking to drive PSP sustainability. As part of our technology roadmap, we continue to explore how we can add additional services (e.g., physical or occupational therapy) for claim processing in the future.

Our technology partnerships

Advancing patient outcomes with RxFood’s nutrition intelligence platform

We are pleased to introduce a new technology partner, RxFood, supporting comprehensive patient care within Innomar’s PSPs. RxFood delivers a clinically informed, scalable nutrition platform designed to address one of the most important—and often under-supported—drivers of treatment success: nutrition.

This partnership enables our PSPs to integrate personalized nutrition support as a core component of care, helping patients better manage their condition, improve tolerance to therapy, and enhance overall outcomes.

Key features of the platform include:

  • AI-powered photo food logging with validated dietary assessment — capture meals using a phone camera and RxFood translates intake into structured, clinically relevant nutrition data, eliminating the burden of manual tracking while enabling scalable, real-world dietary assessment
  • Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and biometric integration — CGM and other biometrics are layered with food intake data to reveal real-time diet–drug interactions, enabling personalized coaching grounded in each patient’s metabolic response
  • Disease- and therapy-specific nutrition protocols — tailored guidance aligned to condition and medication (e.g., micronutrient monitoring such as vitamin A, microbiome diversity optimization, GLP-1/GIP tolerance strategies), helping patients proactively manage side effects and improve treatment response
  • Registered dietitian-led care model — a tiered clinical support system ranging from AI-guided recommendations to 1:1 dietitian intervention, ensuring escalation to the appropriate level of care based on patient need and clinical risk
  • Behavioural engagement infrastructure — structured challenges, condition-specific care plans, and milestone tracking keep patients engaged between dispensing events and clinical visits, supporting sustained adherence and behaviour change
  • Aggregated population-level insights and real-world evidence — de-identified nutrition, engagement, and outcome data provide manufacturers with a unique lens into patient behaviour outside the clinical setting, supporting program optimization and evidence generation
By embedding RxFood into PSPs, our clients can deliver more holistic, patient-centred care—addressing a critical gap between medication and daily lifestyle. This creates a low-barrier, high-impact entry point for patients to engage in their treatment journey, ultimately supporting adherence, persistence, and improved clinical outcomes.

We are continually seeking innovative partners to complement our digital and patient support capabilities. If your organization is developing solutions in this space, we invite you to share more details through our partner intake form.
