Michael Sung
Michael Sung is Director, Government Relations at Innomar Strategies, bringing more than a decade of experience across government, healthcare, life sciences, energy, and technology.
Michael began his career in public policy with the Ontario Ministry of Health before moving into national political strategy in Ottawa. Prior to joining Innomar, he held government relations and public affairs roles with Bruce Power and Crestview Strategy, advising organizations across healthcare, life sciences, technology, energy, and international development. He also worked with the Canadian Nuclear Isotope Council, supporting advocacy around Canada’s role in medical isotope production and the broader life sciences sector.
At Innomar Strategies, Michael leads government relations and public affairs engagement across Canada, with a focus on healthcare policy, regulatory affairs, market access, and the environment shaping specialty medications and patient support programs.
His work has a particular focus on healthcare system transformation, rare disease policy, pharmaceutical and life sciences policy, and Canada’s evolving public and private payer landscape.
