Robert Shapiro is Assistant General Counsel, where he leads legal support for the organization's specialty pharmaceutical, patient support program, pharmacy, and healthcare services businesses across Canada. Recognized for combining strategic thinking with practical execution, Robert works closely with leaders across the organization to navigate complex challenges, unlock opportunities, and develop solutions that support growth while maintaining a strong focus on patient access and care.

Prior to joining Cencora, Robert held senior legal, strategy, and business leadership roles with one of Canada's largest pharmaceutical companies. His combination of legal and business experience allows him to bring a unique perspective on business, risk, and growth.

Robert is licensed to practice law in Ontario, New York, and New Jersey. He holds five degrees, including an Executive MBA from the Rotman School of Management, a Master of Laws, dual US/Canadian law degrees, and a degree in Chemistry. Outside of work, Robert enjoys competing in Ironman events and marathons, camping in the woods, and spending time with his family and cats.
