Patient Engagement Centre

Our Patient Engagement Centre is comprised of bilingual nurse case managers, reimbursement specialists, as well as drug safety associates who provide dedicated support to patients enrolled in our programs. Whether they are assisting patients with the reimbursement process or scheduling an injection/infusion appointment in one of our InnomarClinics™, or the patient’s home, our associates offer friendly and knowledgeable service to your patients at every step of their journey.

Our team members have backgrounds in nursing, healthcare, and the insurance industry, and receive extensive training on specialty medications to ensure your patients have the best experience possible when enrolled in your program.

Reimbursement Navigation & Support

Navigating healthcare insurance is difficult for patients, especially when they have been prescribed a high-cost specialty medication. Our reimbursement specialists help patients and healthcare providers navigate through this complex process, one step at a time. With extensive expertise in public and private drug plans, our specialists will help patients complete the necessary paperwork and filings to ensure they initiate therapy without any administrative delays. When required, our reimbursement specialists will coordinate the appeal process to help expedite time to coverage.

Financial Assistance Support

Even with drug plan coverage, there are some medications that pose financial restrictions for patients. We work with manufacturers to design appropriate co-pay or compassionate access strategies for patients that have limited financial resources. We also assist with managing the delivery of funds and drug plan payments through our programs. 

Adherence & Compliance Programming

Ensuring patients adhere to their medication schedule is a key component for any successful treatment regimen. From scheduling injection/infusion appointments for patients to reminder calls and designing customized adherence plans, our case managers are there to ensure patients are complying with their prescribed therapy. We also offer specialized education, dietary support and other technology solutions to help enhance this experience for patients. 

Special Access Programs

Special access programs for pre-launch medications are a life-saving alternative for some patients. Innomar has the infrastructure and expertise to help physicians get these medications to their patients as quickly as possible. We work with each physician and their staff to submit requests to Health Canada, as well as coordinate product delivery. We also help patients and physicians transition to the commercialized product once it has received its Notice of Compliance from Health Canada.

AE Reporting & Product Complaint Services

At Innomar Strategies, our drug safety services are seamlessly integrated into your patient support program to offer the highest level of regulatory compliance for collecting and reporting adverse events, loss/lack of efficacy and product quality complaints. Our centralized team of bilingual, drug safety professionals consistently delivers cost-efficient, reliable and timely reporting standards customized to meet our clients’ needs. In addition, our pharmacovigilance team provides essential support to clients during all regulatory inspections including MHRA, FDA and Health Canada audits. 

Medical Information Services

Having a well-trained team to address medical information requests is particularly important for specialty medications. Innomar offers customized medical information services and programs to meet the needs of a manufacturer’s product. We develop both standardized responses for efficient information management and customized responses in accordance to client-approved SOPs. Our team of trained specialists provides support in English and French, with translation services for 180 additional languages, if needed.

Risk Management Programs

For products that require risk management programs, Innomar Strategies offers full-service solutions that range from risk management planning and implementation to program maintenance, including data collection and transmission to health authorities and clients. Our risk management services can be implemented separately or alongside our patient support programs to ensure the proper coordination of mandatory testing, including reminders and alerts for healthcare providers.

Quality Assurance

Our comprehensive quality assurance policies encompass several areas including: internal audits and inspections; adherence to strict ethical wall policies; maintaining business continuity plans; and implementing standardized training for associates

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are the core of our business and our electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) platform ensures all associates are properly trained and notified when changes are made to an applicable SOP. Our eQMS is linked to our Learning Management System for an integrated approach to tracking and monitoring associate training schedules.
