Position:               Health Economist

Work schedule:    Flexible within hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8am-8pm
 
 

The Health Economist is responsible for designing and conducting economic evaluations and budget impact analyses for Innomar’s Consulting Division. This includes developing the strategic approach in conjunction with the client and internal staff, reviewing pertinent clinical and economic studies and reviews.

 
Responsibilities:
  • Manages and coordinates his/her efforts in association with the rest of the team and the client to ensure project objectives are met on time.
  • Design and undertake economic evaluations, budget impact analyses, and reviews of economic evidence and make recommendations to clients.
  • Develop computer-based economic models to perform economic and budget impact analyses.
  • Maintain current knowledge of economic methodologies for use in developing analyses for clients.
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in economics
  • Advanced training in the economic evaluation of pharmaceutical and biotechnology products
  • Two years’ experience in health care related technology assessment.
  • Other combinations of relevant experience plus a graduate degree in a related quantitative discipline will be considered. The position requires expertise in performing microeconomic analyses, skill in computer-based economic and statistical modelling and excellent writing and communication skills.
