1.Position:        Director, Consulting

Location:           Burlington, Ontario
 
The position of Director, Consulting requires a senior pharmaceutical industry manager who demonstrates strong leadership, strategic planning and a clear customer focus. The successful candidate will have expertise in market access & reimbursement, government affairs, lobbying, pricing and market research.
 
The Director of Consulting will oversee all aspects of the Innomar Consulting department and will solidify performance management practices to create a high performance culture and a cohesive team that is focused on delivering value. The Consulting department consists of the following areas of responsibility:
  • Government Relations and Lobbying
  • Market Access and Reimbursement
  • Market Research
  • Pricing
  • Strategic Consulting
  • Health Economics
  • Clinical programs
The Director will be actively involved in all operations, planning, development and implementation of departmental initiatives, and draw on the expertise across Innomar departments to develop strategies for both internal and external stakeholders.
 
Responsibilities:
  • In addition to overseeing the strategic and operational activities of the consulting team, the Director of Consulting will:
  • Participate as a member of the senior management team; monitor and provide ongoing communication of departmental activity
  • Collaborate with New Business Development and other departments/resources to lead or participate in projects based on skills required to deliver projects within scope and deliver value in terms of revenue optimization, process improvement and functional alignment
  • Build and maintain working relationships and networks that help to profile Innomar’s services and capabilities and increase industry and build brand recognition through client communication, management and relationship building
  • In collaboration with internal operating divisions and in partnership with existing clients, identify new opportunities and recommend initiatives to improve the overall client experience
  • Budget to plan; develop and implement departmental, strategic, and growth strategy plans to achieve sustainable earnings and revenue growth and to support cost reduction initiatives
 
 
Qualifications:
  • University degree in science, marketing, management or other related discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry experience with consulting, vendor, government relations or market access responsibilities
  • The candidate must be a self-starter, possessing excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication and influencing skills
  • Executive project and client management skills
  • Ability to lead by example, to create strong team dynamics that result in successful, creative and innovative project outcomes
  • Ability to identify / maximize market opportunities (target activities) and develop strategic and tactical plans to increase business with new clients
  • Proven ability to leverage existing contacts into new business opportunities with a track record of successful delivery
  • Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office software including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Bilingualism (French-English) is an asset
2.Position:                Administrative Assistant, Consulting
Department:             Consulting
Position type:           Full Time
Work schedule:        Flexible within hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8am-8pm
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Development and maintenance of all filling systems across programs, including instituting trial master files for all clinical research programs
  • Development/maintenance of all electronic filing systems
  • Responsible for generation of cheque requisitions based on site performance/recruitment for all clinical research programs
  • Participation in physician recruitment through fax campaigns
  • Providing all participating sites with the documentation required to participate in clinical trials (including development, collating and shipment of submission binders and site master file binders)
  • Preparation of submission materials
  • Participation in outbound calling market research programs
  • Ad hoc support of the Consulting department
 
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • 3-5 years experience in an administrative role in a pharmaceutical setting
  • Experience in clinical research/drug safety is an asset
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications is essential
  • Bilingual, French/English preferred
3.Position:          Reimbursement Manager
Department:       Consulting, Burlington Ontario
Position type:     Full Time
Work schedule: Flexible within hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8am-8pm
 
Responsibilities:
  • Daily and on going communication with Project Managers for new and existing projects;
  • Participate in client meetings;
  • Collect and communicate issues and trends in the private/public reimbursement sectors;
  • Ongoing evaluation of project strengths, weaknesses and potential areas for improvement;
  • Resource management and allocation;
  • Overseeing, planning and development of staff members; and
  • Identify and implement staff recruiting strategies and participate in the hiring process
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum university degree;
  • Must be detailed-oriented and organized;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Knowledge of Private and Public reimbursement sectors;
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in project management;
  • Experience managing personnel; and
  • Bilingual (French & English) considered an asset
